HOW THEY MET: “SPINNING” TOWARDS EACH OTHER
For over a year, Don attended BreEnna’s spin classes two to three times each week, quietly admiring her confidence, energy, smile and gorgeous green eyes from the back of the class. Being a professional instructor, Bre did not mingle socially with her students, and was “strictly business” in class.
A PROMISE KEPT AND A “DEBT” REPAID
Fortunately, Bre needed legal advice; Don, being an attorney, was able to advise her. To thank him, Bre promised Don “I owe you a drink”.
The two quickly realized the chemistry that existed between them, as well as their shared interests in the outdoors, hiking, fitness and simple things like shopping for groceries.
STARTING A FAMILY OF LOVE
Their relationship grew and they decided to start a family. Along came Gunner, their Boston Terrier, (a/k/a “The Prince), followed by siblings, Ari and Chata (French Bulldog litter mates).
In keeping with what remained a weekly tradition in their lives, on June 24, 2016, Don took a knee in the beginning of Bre’s Friday morning spin class and asked her for her hand and heart in marriage. Despite the “annoying” interruption to her Friday morning routine, she accepted his proposal.
PLANNING A ROMANTIC DESTINATION WEDDING
Wasting little time, Bre started to plan their nuptials and, on a beautiful beach in Barbados, they were married by Father Peter on March 8, 2017.
A RECEPTION AT THE FARMHOUSE WAS A “MUST”
When the time came to decide on the perfect venue for the reception and celebration, they looked no further than The Farmhouse at The Grand Colonial. Bre said “Both inside and out, the venue is gorgeous and the fare magnificent. We could not have chosen a more perfect place to gather with friends and family to celebrate.”
