The Farmhouse at The Grand Colonial is partnering with the Italian-American Heritage Club of Hunterdon County to support the relief effort for the victims of the 6.2 magnitude earthquake which has devastated the historic town of Amatrice and the the rest of central Italy.
For the month of September, the classic dish named for Amatrice – “Bucatini all’Amatriciana” – will be on the “Specials” menu, and served at The Farmhouse Restaurant, and the proceeds from each dish will be donated to the Italian American Relief Fund. Made with pancetta, garlic, chili flakes, marinara and Pecorino Toscano, Amatriciana is the signature sauce named for Amatrice.
So please visit the Farmhouse, enjoy a bowl of Bucatini all’Amatriciana, and join in our effort to help our brothers and sisters in Italia.
