NJ.com picked The Farmhouse at The Grand Colonial to be one of New Jersey’s best wedding venues for “Weddings that wow.” The online review notes that couples can make an entrance to their Farmhouse wedding in a horse drawn carriage and be greeted by trumpeters. The bride and groom and their guests may also enjoy on-site tethered balloon rides over the Farmhouse’s 10+ acre estate, which is set in the rolling hills of Hunterdon County.
Couples may choose an indoor reception in the Farmhouse’s newly appointed Grand Ballroom, or tent their reception outdoors for 35-500+ guests on the Great Lawn, and dance in full view of the stars above. Other wedding enhancements provided by the Farmhouse include caviar and seafood raw bars, a sushi station, ice sculptures, a Viennese Dessert Table, fireworks, an after party and more.
“There’s really no limit to what we can do at The Farmhouse” says Jimmy Gutentag, General Manager of The Farmhouse. “We have over 10 acres of gorgeous property set on a historic estate to work with. The only limit is our imagination.” Jimmy believes that whether or not couples choose to add any enhancements, every wedding at the Farmhouse is unique “because each couple brings their own special energy and ideas. We only allow one wedding per day at the Farmhouse, so we have the luxury of focusing exclusively on the bride and groom on their special day. Every couple is special to us, and our team genuinely loves making the entire process of planning their wedding, and seeing it through until the last guest leaves a memory that they’ll treasure forever.”
